About Us

Ritzville Warehouse Co.(RWC) is a farmer-owned grain cooperative, one of the oldest in Washington, having been formed in 1893 by a small group of Ritzville-area farmers. Since that humbling beginning, mergers with other grain cooperatives have occured since 1970, including Benge Elevator Co. in 1974, Washtucna Grain Growers in 1996, and Lacrosse Grain Growers and Odessa Trading Company in 2000. In addition, a purchase was made in 1994 of a number of grain facilities owned by United Grain Growers. Currently, our country grain operations include 22 operating facilities in five counties on the Big Bend Plateau  in Eastern Washington's wheat country.

Templin Terminal, our wholly-owned 110-car shuttle loading facility, located a few miles east of Ritzville on the BNSF mainline, allows us to provide our customers with high-volume and quick access to Columbia River export facilities. Since beginning operations in April 2002, over 180 million bushels of grain have been shipped through the Templin facility.

The 2000 merger with Odessa Trading Company was RWC's first serious move into the retail business. OTC has been a full-line dealership for CaseIH(and its predecessor companies) for over 80 years. OTC, with sales/service of over $25 million is a key factor in our efforts to provide our customers with the highest quality in sales and service.

In March 2010, the purchase of Ag Tech Services greatly expanded our sales/service trade-area in the precision-farming business. Ag Tech Services operations cover a territory from Central Washington into northern/central Oregon, with 14 RTK base stations and repeaters. This greatly expands OTC's precision-farming trade-area that includes Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, Adams, Spokane and Whitman counties.
